How come on myspace, when I try to add someone as a friend, if their profile is private, it asks for

their last name. When my friend tried to add the same person 2 minutes later on her account, it didn't ask for a last name or email address. This happened on MANY DIFFERENT people. How can I change this?

Recently Myspace did this as a security reason since there is more sexual predators on the run so that users who are 18 or older who tries to add users who are 15 and under are required to put their last name or email address before adding that user. When a person at the age of 18 tries to add a user who is 15 or under is required to put their last name or email address so that the young user can know whetever that user is a friend or a family member of them. Also the other security changes that Myspace did is that users who are 14 or 15 years old can't contact users 18 or over and see their profile unless they add that user but the user who wants to add a user 18 or over must do the same thing like a user that is 18 who wants to add an underage user.

It's because they don't want child predators to hit on the young girls and get raped.

The reason why is because under settings you can change your profile to where only people who know your last name or email can add you this is because the user only wants people they know to add them. The reason this didnt happen to your friend was because the user probably removed it.

hey thats because u have the same name person in ur list just change the named of the person u going to add keep her name if name is rocky and that exists in ur list then name it as rocky1 like then it will add it in ur list have fun bye
