One of my old freinds found me on myspace and asked me if i was who she thinks. the problem is i cant message her back telling her if i am because im not her friend on myspace and her profile is set to private and it doesnt let you send her email unless your her friend.
Is there a way i can send her a message without being her friend. If there is please explain.

I was going to say e-mail one of the people on her Friends list, ask them whatever, and they'll replay the message back to your old friend, but since the profile is private, I'm afraid you can't do anything about sending messages.
You could write "yes, this is ___" of some sort on your Profile so she doesn't think you're ignoring her or stuff. Also, ask to be added in her Friends list.

You should just be able to go to her page, even if private, and in the contact box hit send message. Unless she has the box set to not shown, or just reply to her message she sent you. I've sent messages to people's profile that are private.
