Facebook is honestly your best bet.

It's safe, and definitely very private.

I've tried all the other ones out (live jounal, bebo, myspace, yearbook... etc.) and I have to say that facebook is the safest.

myspace and facebook are safe if you set your account/profile to private so that only your FRIENDS can see it. i promise just dont talk to any physcopaths and youll be fine.

bebo.com I have one and it's pretty private. You can set your page to provate and no one can add you without your permission and they can't see your page if it is set to preivate unless they are your direct friend.

Stay off line until you are eighteen. Online networks are full of perverts, slime, and other people who would hurt you if they had the chance.

theres lots of kid friendly and kid only sites....just make sure that whatever is posted is set so that only approved persons can view it.....set the privacy settings and such.
