How to make sure someone is online on MYSPACE, even if you dont have them added?

It seems like a simple question but is rather difficult here is what i know so you answers or tell me what i dont:

-Each time someone is on myspace it has the online green text under her.

-When you add them they appear at some page under the online people list.

-The last login date is shown on his page.

So the question is if they have private myspace and you dont have added them, any tricks and tips how to calculate when he is online or was? or anything related. Please already said what i know i am looking for experienced people that might know some things out of experience.

even if they are not your friend it will say if they are online. but it is hard to tell becasue some people ahve it to where it does not say that they are online, so nobody will know when they are on. and even after someone logs off it takes about 10 minutes or so until the online now icon thingy goes away.
