Parents, don't be fooled by thinking because you stand over your childs shoulders, or have your computer in the living room etc. that your student is not online in cyberspace like the crazy person who didn't answer my question, but rather stated "his" opionion on my parenting skills. I KNOW what my child does. Because we share. She knows of at least 25 students she associates with at school who have "private" myspace accounts without their parents knowledge. You better get with the program, and get a closer relationship with your child so YOU have knowledge to be able to check what they are doing on their account mister! I check her account EVERY single day. That is the kind of responsible parent I am. In reference to parent with their head in the sand about my question about MySpace. You know who you are!

Considering all the very real dangers and temptations to snare children on the internet, you are one wise and informed and loving mother it seems. Anyone else who has any doubts whatsoever are the ignorant ones with their heads in the sand or one of the perverts who are trying to seduce and lure children for sex or worse. Just ask the folks at Perverted Justice how innocent the places like myspace are. I believe they've caught quite a few pedophile perverts there and they likely have presence here as well. I got my answer voted best when the other two were accepting solicitation of sex regardless of the fact one only has to be 13 years old to be on here. I'm sick of the verbal filth and verbal porn that goes on here so while we are at it, let's clean it up folks. Keep America morally beautiful and a fit environment for the innocence of kids.
