Myspace law [IMPORTANT] [READ]?

is it illigal for someone to "somehow" get onto private myspace accounts and read your messages and comments? and then print them out and show them to police? is that illigal?

Myspace law [IMPORTANT] [READ]?

The issue here is that you seem to think that anything you've published on the internet is private in any way at all.

There is no privacy on the net.

There are laws against 'hacking' websites - bypassing safeguards for personal gain. There are no laws against presenting published materials to police for prosecution.

Myspace law [IMPORTANT] [READ]?

yeah

Myspace law [IMPORTANT] [READ]?

I don't think that is illegal. It violates someone's privacy, but I don't think it it illegal.

Myspace law [IMPORTANT] [READ]?

yeah

Myspace law [IMPORTANT] [READ]?

i dont think so not if its for an important reason, like if the messages ave stuff about importand government buisness or somthing

Myspace law [IMPORTANT] [READ]?

yup

Myspace law [IMPORTANT] [READ]?

id say..

if the police can't do it without a warrant then i'd say it's illegal for someone else to do it.

it's invasion of privacy...

then again that's true that invasion of privacy is not against the law... but hacking is, and if they're hacking into your account to obtain incriminating evidence, i would be more likely say that THAT is illegal.

or actually, invasion or privacy might be against the law, cuz what about peeping toms? that's illegal.

gosh...

Myspace law [IMPORTANT] [READ]?

yes........

Myspace law [IMPORTANT] [READ]?

Yes there worng, and the person who had the mesage is worng to if they put it on there. It goes both ways

Myspace law [IMPORTANT] [READ]?

it is illegal no matter what they do youll get '

fined or imprisoned beacause you violate

someones right

Myspace law [IMPORTANT] [READ]?

once its published onto the internet, its almost in public domain, its not nice, but not illegal.

Myspace law [IMPORTANT] [READ]?

Yes and no. The police can use what was printed out against you because they obtained it legally. So if there's something damaging in there get a good lawyer. If not you should a) get a stronger password and b)see if you can pursue legal action.

Myspace law [IMPORTANT] [READ]?

How do they get into them if they're private? Only the police/FBI can? If you got something on myspace you don't want people to know about, then DELETE it, that's all u gotta do

Myspace law [IMPORTANT] [READ]?

if the profile is public %26amp; something seems strange then I guess no

but u can't just hack someone cuz they're suspicious or anythin'

violation against privacy is a crime, I believe

=]

Myspace law [IMPORTANT] [READ]?

Well if they were bad enough for the police to care about them then its probably a good thing they read them

Myspace law [IMPORTANT] [READ]?

No... that information is out there on the worldwide web. Don't post things that can get you into trouble.

Myspace law [IMPORTANT] [READ]?

I hope so!!! However I don't really know.

Myspace law [IMPORTANT] [READ]?

this is straight from a cops mouth:

there is no privacy on the net!!!! we use emails, internet messages, instant messages, and everything and anything else to convict with.
