You can hide them, but they can find you. If they disable "style" in Firefox, they can ignore your code and see your friends. Plus, if they have the generic link for your friends list, they can just use that. I do it all of the time. lol

The only way to stop anyone from seeing your friends is to set your profile to Private...but that's a last resort.
