On MySpace I say that I'm fifteen so my account is set to private. But...?

for people to add me they either have to know my last name or e-mail address. All of my other friends are private and there's dont have that step. How do I get rid of that? I still want it private, but I don't want people to have to know those to ask to add me. Halp please?

Go to preferences and select privacy settings and un check the box that says require users to know my last name or email to add me.

Put that info in your tag line. That way people can find you, and add you after reading the tagline.

When you're using a public forum, you should never, ever put your personal information, including your real name. The moment you enter the internet, you're in a world where all the predators are a lot smarter than you--and some of them are 15!

You should also try to minimize yourself as a target. Don't post that you have something of value. The moment you do, you can be found through sites like google.

Have you ever googled yourself? Try it. See what's out there on you. See if you can find yourself and how easy it is, and look at whether the information makes you vulnerable. (So far, I only get 4 hits, and they're all boring.)

Be popular; not famous.
